Introductions...Schmintroductions...

You'll have to forgive me if this seems disjointed. Writing entries is actually a cut-and-paste endeavor.
If I could breastfeed while typing on the computer, I think we'd all be winners. Fine, maybe just me.

(Yeah, I totally talked about breastfeeding in the first paragraph.
I do that a lot now, mainly because I have funny stories.
They may or may not translate well sans hand gestures and
sound effects, but I guess we'll test that soon enough.)

It's funny.
I kept an online diary-blog (bliary? dlog?) all throughout my college career.
It was filled with petty mundane lifestuffs, and then later on it mutated into
my public exhibition for broken hearts (raging raging ragamuffin) and
dysfunctional ambiguiuties (shudder and pause, stutter and sing).
Such was my life for a very very long time.

Fast forward to my real life. The best life I've had so far.
Happy happily married, super mom, mainly on Tuesdays, and an avid pie baker.
Actually, thanks to being pregnant and lazy, I guess I'm just a general baker now.
I also have a penchant for eating food in bed, also thanks to being pregnant and lazy.

For the most part, I spend far too much time in my head and figured I need a new outlet.
Baby doesn't really care about my opinions on irrelevant stuff...yet.

:::

a while back there was a reunion of sorts.
i was surrounded by the major players of my past,
and really, you can't help but reminisce.
i think lindsay and i do this at least once a year.
heads tilted, imaginary glasses raised to the sky.
thick praise and a volume of hymns.
we pause and re-love our elbow and knee awkwardness.
because we're thankful for the concrete on church street.
broken drum sticks and walls that hummed electric.
beaten hearts and short story love. songs we memorized in our sleep,
dreaming soft and hard.

these are all good thoughts. red warm love memories.
that all of our friends are still beautiful.

i still can't believe the life i now live.
forever love songs and slow dances in the kitchen.
an oven bursting with baked goods.
weezer lullabies with the prettiest baby girl.
it's slightly overwhelming.
it's the life you held your breath for.

shazam and things.

love,
the little mama.
